We provide extensive opportunities for personal and professional development, building both employee competence and organizational capability to fuel exceptional performance through an inclusive environment both now and in the future.Summary:This is a great opportunity for a results-oriented project manager to join the Operational Excellence team in Spend Management.In this role, you will collaborate with leaders and teams across the Spend Management Business Unit (SMBU) to execute key strategic initiatives and priorities to accelerate performance of Spend Management, including leading performance improvement initiatives to develop and implement automation, process standardization and efficiencies. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and progress of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with SMBU objectives.This role involves coordinating resources, managing risks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to achieve project success.Responsibilities:

• Manage SMBU priorities and initiatives from project creation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget and resources along with executive status reports.
• Anticipate risks, develop contingency plans, and minimize disruptions.
• Define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams and departments.
• Communicate project expectations, updates, and potential risks to key stakeholders, while providing appropriate resolutions and recommendations.
• Leverage data to assess project performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize results.
• In collaboration with Sr. Director, Operational Excellence, identifies continuous improvement opportunities within the Operational Excellence team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful project throughout its lifecycle required.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies required.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Expertise in project management software preferred.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel.Estimated Hiring Range:At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
