Position Description


Represent Texas Tech University both on and off campus to prospective students, parents, staff, and faculty of colleges and universities to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals. Coordinate and contribute to the success of various visit schedules for colleges and universities in the assigned area. Plan assigned recruiting events and programs. Counsel prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at the university.

About the Department and/or College

Represents TTU Online through virtual presentations and student appointments to bring new students to Texas Tech University Online and drive strategic enrollment growth. Manages full schedule with presentations and one on one meetings with prospective TTU Online students and families virtually. First point of contact for all new inquiries to TTU Online. Helps with inquiries about major selection and through the application. Connects newly admitted students directly to their enrollment service specialist.


Major/Essential Functions

  • Present Virtual Presentations for students inquiring about TTU and Admitted Students. 30%
  • Plan & Execute Virtual Student Appointment Events for all partnership Community Colleges. 30%
  • Connect immediately with new inquiries and student appointment requests to help them with major choices, goals for the degree, and the application. 30%
  • Plan and implement a full, organized recruitment schedule for potential TTU Online students. 10%


    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree plus one year related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal five years.




    Preferred Qualifications

    • Must demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and utilize customer relationship software, Salesforce. Demonstrate working knowledge of admissions policies and procedures, enrollment goals, university facts, knowledge of recruitment market, and proficient use of admissions and recruitment technology.
    • Working knowledge of higher education recruitment and admissions. Sales and territory management experience. Experience with presenting to large audiences.
    • Experience in admissions desirable. Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred. Customer service experience.
    • Must be able to be approved as a driver for state fleet vehicles. Valid driver's license.

      Pay Statement
