Job Description:

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.

The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.

Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions; application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
Analyze requirements and transform to technical Flow, aligned with existing project framework and design


Requirements: Relevant IT experience, preferably within a Financial domain
Strong experience in Java/J2EE, Web Services, SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle)
Strong knowledge of XML, JSON and its usage within API and Microservice implementations at scale
Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, WebLogic Application server or JBoss
Strong experience in Integration Technologies - Mule ESB & IDE or equivalent, previous Middleware experiences
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development and Unit Testing (Cucumber/Litmus, JUnit)
Able to contribute to automation, causal analysis and develop shared/common solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills (both to a technical and non-technical audience)
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, team leadership, problem solving, innovative thinking and mentoring skills
Strong foundation and exposure in Business Process Management Design and development of JAVA/J2EE applications
Capable of attending Business discussions and workshops and gather requirements
Good working experience and knowledge in Kafka, REST API, Spring framework, MuleSoft, cucumbers framework, GIT, etc.
Hands-on working experience in Oracle - should be proficient in creating SQL scripts and procedures
Able to handle code repositories using Bitbucket
8+ years of experience
Core Java Developer Skills
Must have experience with Mule, Java/Sprint boot, Monitoring/Trouble shooting and Oracle database experience
Experience with performance tuning, JVM configuration and application resiliency experience


Desired skills: Knowledge and working experience in Agile Framework
Exposure to tools namely Jenkins, WinSCP XLR, CI-CD framework


Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26
