Coordinator at Universal Technical Institute is the welcoming face
and brand ambassador for our vibrant community. Your role involves
creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for campus visitors and
handling details efficiently to foster strong relationships. As the
first point of contact, you'll be responsible for meeting
prospective students, managing phone inquiries, and handling
various clerical duties. Our ideal candidate:
- Has a friendly and approachable demeanor who can easily
establish a rapport with visitors - including potential students,
families, UTI colleagues, and industry partners.
- Can handle visitor inquiries, concerns, and requests in a
proactive and professional manner.
- Able to work collaboratively with team members to address any
issues promptly and effectively. What we offer
- Pay range of $18 -$20 per hour. This is a full-time role (40
hrs/week) with benefits

- Greet visitors, have all individuals register at the Front
Desk, and direct visitors to appropriate staff members
- Answer all incoming lines in a prompt, professional manner, and
efficiently route to the proper department
- Provide excellent customer service to external and internal
customers.
- Provide administrative support to a variety of staff such as
the Campus Visit & Event Supervisor, Campus Admissions Manager and
to other departments such as Corporate Office Admission (as
needed).
- Assist with campus events such as Open House, Orientation,
Graduation, etc.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in an in-person customer service or guest
relations role required
- Previous experience with multi-line phone system strongly
preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly visible
environment
- Bilingual skills a plus! Work Environment
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled
environment.
- This position is designated as Onsite.
- Must be available to work the occasional Saturday shift Work
