• Patrols primarily from the bicycle but must be capable of also conducting walking patrols.
• Will oversee a very large area and will need to have familiarization with geography and neighborhoods. A good sense of direction and map familiarization are ideal.
• Will be expected to take direction from shift lead or dispatch to include timely response to alarms and emergencies.
• Effective communication skills (email, phone, in person). Ability to de-escalate situations with residents and customers while meeting overall security requirements.
• Will receive detailed training on the job duties (1-2 weeks)
• Driver License required to allow them to cross train with regular positions. Your background:
  • Must display appropriate physical characteristics to operate the bicycle in all weather conditions.
  • Must have high level of attention to detail (police mindset) looking for any safety or security concerns.
  • Must report issues and concerns to dispatch and shift lead to allow security to resolve the concern.
