Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Construction Estimator to
perform estimating activities for various project types and
delivery methods.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive estimates and perform detailed reviews of
project plans and specifications
Utilize HCSS estimating software for quantity takeoffs and
productivity rate comparisons
Coordinate with the estimating team and solicit quotes from
subcontractors and material suppliers
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction
estimating
Understanding of construction contract documents, drawings, and
specifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or
related field (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid and
project controls software
Experience with CAD/3D modeling tools is preferred
