University Partners is closely integrated with, and works closely with, KKR to develop acquisition strategy, evaluate new investment opportunities and optimize the performance of the portfolio.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue through effective pricing models and market research and analysis
  • Track and analyze market data using public data sources, internal data points, and College House, Axiometrics, CoStar and proprietary market surveys
  • Maintain and update UP's database of market information (e.g. market preleasing, comparable property rents, competitive multifamily rents, university enrollment etc)
  • Handle market pricing for university student housing assets, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market trends
  • Collaborate with leasing and marketing teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Develop annual property rent budgets in collaboration with operations and asset management
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to C-level executives
  • Perform market research, including tracking demand and supply fundamentals of student housing markets
  • Periodic travel required to conduct asset and market tours, and tour assets in the Company's PortfolioThe Company may revise this job description from time to time as business needs require.   • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-yr college or university
  • 2-4+ years of related experience in commercial real estate market research, investments, asset management or financial analysis (student housing or multifamily preferred but not required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with VP and C-level executives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including leasing and marketing
  • Prior experience in pricing analysis, revenue management, or a related field is highly desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office software with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Advanced Excel skills required for market research analysisWe are also seeking a candidate who:

  • Ability to leverage technology to perform all job functions at the highest level
