Overview:Our rapidly evolving IT department is in search of a Linux
Engineering Technical Lead with excellent technical/communication
skills and a consistent track record of setting and reaching team
goals! The position will also provide the planning, engineering,
and delivery of business scalable infrastructure solutions to meet
project timeline and needs while ensuring design compliance and
enforcement of the latest best practices and technology
standards.Our Impact:The UNIX/AWS EC2 engineering team is
responsible for UNIX servers we have in our colocation facilities
as well as the EC2 instances in the cloud. Our #1 goal is to
maintain a stable, healthy, and scalable platform, providing
resiliency and solid performance for all UNIX servers across our
business units through automation, best practices, and SME
support.
- We assure Stability, Availability and Reliability for thousands
of servers to support a wide range of applications in a hybrid
Cloud environment.
- We strive to prevent service impacts in a wide-ranging and
constantly evolving ecosystem, assure rapid recoverability from any
impacts to business and services.
- We strategize and transform IT with Automation and Process
Engineering.Your Impact:In this role, you will be an integral part
of the Engineering team within the platform and Infrastructure
services group and expected to perform in the following areas:
- Leverage and align work to appropriate resources across the
team to ensure work is completed in the most efficient and
impactful way, including automating processes where possible.
- Understand capabilities and current trends to maximize
efficiency of team by leveraging current tools and applications in
place and look for opportunities to improve turnaround time.
- Provide appropriate level of support within the organization to
understand needs and develop a strategy in support of the
Infrastructure Operations division's delivery model and feedback
from key stakeholder groups.
- Identify and implement best practice methodologies across the
environments that support the organization with the highest level
of effectiveness and impact by working with vendors and other
engineering teams.
- Keep abreast of best-in-class and current trends in training
and development and make recommendations to improve or better align
offerings with the goals of the company.
- Identify and manage external vendors to ensure offerings are
effective, achieving the desired impact and there is an acceptable
cost to value ratio.
- Leverage learning industry trends to foster greater efficiency
and deliver innovation and positive learning
experiences.Qualifications:
- 8-10 years demonstrated experience in Information Technology
with in-depth knowledge of Linux and Infrastructure Engineering;
College degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of development experience in AWS services -
Code Pipeline, Code build, Cloud Formation templates, Systems
manager, AWS lambda.
- Prior experience with scripting and automation using (Python,
Ansible, Jenkins and shell and bash scripting).
- Experience with CICD pipelines for code versioning and code
deployments.
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
- Understanding of vulnerability management and risk
remediation.
- Experience in HA and DR concepts as they apply to
Infrastructure Designs.
- Experience with Legacy to Current Infrastructure
migrations.
- An eye for automating common processes.
- Communicates well within the team to set clear goals and
effectively relay the status and accomplishments to management.Keys

an annualized market-based salary range of $145,000 - $217,000 and
is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The
final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is
dependent on various factors including but not limited to the
responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal
pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
